SnapBack ("the Application") is developed and operated by Jiajie Financial Solutions Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use SnapBack.

1. Information We Collect

QuickBooks Online Data:

SnapBack accesses your QuickBooks Online company data exclusively through Intuit's official OAuth 2.0 API.
Data is accessed only when you initiate a backup or restore operation.
We never store your QuickBooks credentials. Authentication is handled entirely by Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow.

License Information:

When you activate a purchased license, we store your license key and a machine identifier to prevent unauthorized use.
Payment processing is handled by Gumroad (our payment provider). We do not store credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Data

Backup & Restore: Your QBO data is downloaded to your local machine during backup and uploaded back during restore. This is the core functionality of the application.
No Cloud Storage: SnapBack does NOT upload your QBO data to our servers. All backup files are stored locally on your computer or a cloud drive of your choosing.
Analytics: We collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., number of backups performed, features used) to improve the application. No financial data is collected.

3. Data Security

Encryption at Rest: Backup files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation. Without your encryption key, the backup file is unreadable.
Encryption in Transit: All communication with Intuit's API is over TLS/HTTPS.
Local Storage: Your data stays on your machine. We have no server-side storage of your QBO data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or QBO data with third parties, except:

As required by law or legal process.
With your explicit consent.
With service providers who assist us (e.g., Gumroad for payments), who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

Backup files remain on your local machine indefinitely until you delete them. License records are retained as long as your subscription is active. You may request deletion of your license records by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You may also revoke SnapBack's access to your QuickBooks Online data at any time via your Intuit account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

SnapBack is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
